The Africa Business Council is established to be the premier advocacy arm and platform for private sector cooperation and engagement at the African continental level, strengthening economic, commercial, business, and investment ties among the business communities of the African continent, while ensuring regular inclusive dialogue with the African Union Africa Business Council provides the platform for regular dialogue and consultation among the African Union Commission, the private sector actors and other stakeholders with a view to strengthen and promote public-private sector initiatives, cross-border investments, enabling business environment, business partnerships, and growth of small and medium enterprises cross the continent. Indeed, it will contribute to the achievement of a competitive, dynamic and diversified continental economy needed to actualizes the goals of the AfCFTA.
